Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in the United States, is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were some of her film roles. Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello pursued a degree in politics at Villanova University. Following graduation, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello has a son Jackson with her former partner Dan McDermott. [18] In November 2013 she wrote about her having a sexual relationship with her then-partner, Clare Munn. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we give to ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 2015.).
