Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was a South African television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politcally slanted story about the 2012 Benghazi attack "the worst mistake on my 10-year-watch." In the year 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. 4 On January 4, 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She claimed that she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan worked during her studies as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producers. After four years, she decided to branch out into freelance journalism. She was assigned as an editor/producer, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN hired her to cover about such events as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
